    Default Password Safe

    Hello,

I recently upgraded my Password Safe app. I failed to back up my old data before I did it. Now, when I launch it it says "Database Verson Erro, sorry, but the version of the database is not supported. You must install the version associated with this database.

I failed to note that i needed to export my existing data under the old version to a CSV file.

I looked in my application settings, unders Manage applications and it says I have 44 KB of data.

Can I revive this data. Thanks ahead of time for any help you can provide me.

I tried to email the developer but the email address is Goodluck@noreply.com. Obviously my email kicked bac. Not funny.

Didn't Password Safe get "updated" and change its name to OI Safe?

Which one are you using now? If you're still using Password Safe, then you might try emailing the developer and asking for an old version to install. You can then export the data, install the new version, and import the data.

You are correct, it is now OI safe.

I was using password safe up until it prompted me with a download to change it to the OI safe, I think the new version is 0.6.0.

I tried to email the developer but the email address is Goodluck@noreply.com. Obviously my email kicked back. Not funny.

Is Password Safe still on your phone? Or did installing OI Safe overwrite it?

Do you use an app like My Backup Pro that backs up your apps? If so you would be able to restore the old version.

    Hi

I am having the same issue. The update is not compatible with the previous database. I have no backups, stupid I know. I cannot find a previous version anywhere, to revert to. This is bad. Anybody figure a way out?

I found an older version, downloaded and installed it (replaced newer version) and all my stuff is there! Guess I will back it up now.

    Get it here :

If your data isn't there when you've downloaded the old version and ran it, then it's probably because your data was removed when the old version was uninstalled.
