    Default Pandora app for G1?

I recently discovered Pandora and I use it daily at work...does anyone know whether or not Pandora will be availble on the T-Mobile G1?

They have made a great app for the iPhone, and I am looking forward to their Android app as well. Pandora is THE best

It was developed for and free to use on iPhone. However, recent developments regarding internet radio royalties have brought about questions over how long these programs will continue to work.

These uncertain usability timeframes may limit a company's interest in porting apps to other new platforms.

Even if they did write an app, that 1GB cap is going to pose a BIG problem with streaming audio!

Well the Pandora guys don't seem very excited about having to code for another platform. Hopefully they won't sit around and wait for too long

Pandora CTO Tom Conrad, who famously said "I need Android like I need a hole in the head," actually takes a more measured approach to the platform war. He told us that "Generally, when I look at Android and the challenges we faced bringing Pandora to handsets," it doesn't seem to solve them. "It just adds another one to the mix."
They are currently taking a wait-and-see approach with Android, though he stressed that "absolutely, we want Pandora to be everywhere there are listeners." TuneWiki similarly wants to achieve multi-platform ubiquity, though they're much more juiced about both the iPhone and Android, saying, "We love them both."

If Pandora was kind enough to work with another developer, it would definitely get ported. It sounds like their deciding factor will be on how popular Android becomes. The iPhone has sold plenty enough so it was worthwhile to them. T-Mobile's G1 may not be popular enough in the beginning, but after more and more carriers offer Android headsets, I don't see why it won't happen.

    Default Pandora??

Okay, I start this thread knowing there has to be another post somewhere that has to do with this, and if there is, all you have to do is give me the link and I will happily peruse that thread. However, does anyone know if there will be a Pandora application that will be downloadable for our G1? On the Pandora site it only shows ATT and Sprint are compatible so is the only thing holding something like this back T-Mobile? Thoughts?

I've tried the search before and it has never worked for me! It always comes up with a blank screen with ads that have nothing to do with what I searched for. I'm assuming that has something to do with my computer?
