The only thing stopping me from switching from my Palm Treo is that I can't find a To Do list that works as well as the basic Palm To Do List. I tried multiple apps for the Blackberry and couldn't find one that was a easy or as good. I've started an informal survey of Palm users and many of them use the To Do List, yet I have not found any iPhone, Blackberry or Android users who use one as extensively as the Palm users do. I suspect it is because there isn't an easy-to-use app for this. I'm wondering if any heavy Palm To Do List users have switched from the Palm To Do list to an Android To Do List with success? Thanks.
I don't know if you found your answer yet, but I am in a similar situation. I had a Palm Treo 650 on AT&T and wanted a Palm Pre but it wasn't available on AT&T until now so I ended up getting a BB Bold back in December of 2009 and have been moderately satisfied. Great internet, phone and texting and I only paid $50 at the time so it was a good deal. The only problem was getting my to do list and memo stuff from Palm Desktop so I could view it on my Blackberry. I eventually just took my palm data to outlook and then to the blackberry. Now I can view the to do list and memo data on my Blackberry.
Anybody with a Palm/Treo whatever, knows how easy it is to setup tasks/to dos with reminders. I can't seem to get the Blackberry to do this. In other words, I can't figure out a simple way to create a task/to do and then have a reminder go off until you get rid of it. In the Blackberry to do/tasks I have to manually go into each category and view the category.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
