They called you? That's not very tmobile.

Also.. the opera browser is just a demo i think, and also I found it to be buggy and saw a number of bad reviews for it.. Just FYI..

When tMob called did they ask you for any login or other personal information?

No idea, but I can't see it happening anytime soon. I can't see Google giving up its default browser status.

I'll have to check it out again, thanks for the info..

I kind of expected it to be a pay app like on iPhone.. surprised..

Right now I wish that we could just slap the Steel softkeys onto the stock browser - That, would be all I need.. had to ditch steel because of all the force closing..

I just don't like any browser that is basically a proxy. All http traffic is routed through Opera's servers with the Mini, now the "Real" Opera is different, it does not use Opera's servers to render the pages.

Steel with its latest updates is good enough to replace the stock browser - IMO. Its not perfect, and I can imagine I'll most likely delete it when we get cupcake, but it gets the job done for now.

I've tried the Opera browser once, but it wasn't for ME. I switch from the stock browser and Steel depending on the website I'm checking out at the time.
