i love trapster but ever since you guys put out the update where any and all reported traps disappear if no one reports it in 3 weeks makes it way less reliable than it was IMO.

yes it did get cluttered with traps but to have the trap type "police often hide here" expire is foolish because i have seen many reliable traps reported ie "red" ones in my area that i know they hide there but they do not appear on the phone app because no one rated the trap recently and that makes absolute no sense for those types. i can see it for the "live police" one but not that.

even if you were to keep that it should be made like the website where they are faded out if the trap has not been rated recently or just keep traps that have a high rating on or something that does not have the good traps go away. i use this app less than i did before because of that

how do those scanners work? would u guys be able to implement this in the future u think? can the n1 do this. does the fm receiver help? lol. id pay big bucks if this happened

We did not want to map to become over populated with bad traps. If you see an area where "Police Often Hide" where there is no longer a trap, simply report a new one. We added the "aged trap" feature to encourage users to vote on traps, and keep the trapmap as accurate as possible.
