sounds cool any way to get it to play with picasa
VirtualSheep - Let your Android Dream.
VirtualSheep is an Android application that replaces the boring blank screen you see when your Android is plugged in. With VirtualSheep, whenever you plug your Android into the wall or the computer, you get a dynamic slideshow of photos from Flickr - no Flickr account necessary. If you have your own Flickr account, you can see a slideshow of your own photos!
In addition to the ever-changing slideshow, you can watch live news feeds from Google News and link to them by touching the news title.
VirtualSheep is great for people who leave their phone plugged in while at work, school or at home!
Plug it in, and the slideshow begins. Unplug and it ends. It's that easy!
Click here from your Android to find VirtualSheep in the Android Market:

Here are some screenshots:

From my own Flickr stream. The image is much larger than this and smoothly pans across the screen in portrait or landscape mode.

Great Idea....
People have been waiting for something like this.
Thanks!
Device : HTC HD2 Leo - 1024 (Dual Boot)
ROM : ChuckyDroid Custom WM 6.5.5 w/Sense
Android : Mattc 2.2 Froyo w/Sense 1.5
SDCard : Kingston 16GB Class 2 Micro SDHC
HSPL3: Thanks 2 (Bepe & Cotulla)
Radio : 2.12.50.02_2
I have Flickr so I started with that.
I have two things I want to get done right away:
-Allow flickr auth so people can view their private photos
-Allow the slideshow to run off of images on the SD card
After that, I will absolutely look at putting in Picasa support. If others would also like to see this, let me know so I can get a sense of how popular it is.
There are no stupid questions, only people who refuse to use the SEARCH button.
I'd like the news to be a more prominent feature. I'm not big on pictures, so I don't have alot of use for the flickr thing, but if you could do something similar to this: http://googlereader.blogspot.com/upl...screenshot.jpg
It's a terrible picture, but it's OSX's rss screen saver, where it will go through and show your RSS feeds in a cool way, that'd be awesome!

This looks great. No paid apps here in the UK yet though so I cant check it out.
any chance of a free versions, perhaps it could have a restriction on how many images it pulls from flickr or something?

Also on the RSS feed. Is there a way to allow the user to pick their own feed? I run a website and lot of the time I check in via the RSS feed.![]()
If you're unable to purchase the app through the market (currently priced at the low, low price of $1.49 = EUR 1.18 = GBP 1.06, send me an email at theshepherd@virtualsheep.com or a PM here. I have a paypal account, and would be happy to send a copy of the application to my friends across the water.
