The biggest show stopper for me to buy the new Hero is lack(?) of good navigation program.
So is there any good options for Android? With voice navigation and turn-by-turn instructions for Europe/Scandinavia, Finland especially?
With iPhone i could get the navigon or in the future TomTom....

AndNav is free, but I would say it is still very Alpha....maybe early Beta for Europe.
Telenav is supposed to be top notch, but you'll pay for it at $10/month.
I use CoPilot Live from Alk Technologies. $30 one-time fee and no data connection required to use it...all the maps reside on the SD card. So it will always work as a standalone GPS device. It's pretty good and what I recommend.
Just installed CoPilot. It starts you out with a confusing array of questions. For example, it asks you for your Google order number. WTF!! Who the hell knows what that is when you purchase the software on the Android market. Just skip it.
Next, it forces you to create a username and password to receive updates via email. Again, WTF. All updates in Android are automatic so this is nothing more than a marketing ploy. You cannot skip it.
Next I tried downloading the maps for N. America. It completely froze my Droid X. I had to pull the battery and do a soft reboot. Again, WTF!!
I am trying again. Either this download is soooooooo sloooooow or this software is crap. Its just kinda hanging there. I have a strong wifi connection and the download is only 1.7Mb.
Is anyone having a better experience with this on a Droid X?
