Was the title inspired by that At&T commercial where the Dutch children are leaving pedals behind them in the big city?
Lol Cool app.
I decided to get down and learn some Android development when I recently moved and didn't want to get lost on the way home. So... this app is more of a tool for myself, but others're free to use it. It's on SlideME because I didn't feel like paying to put a free app on the market ;p
https://slideme.org/application/crumbs
Crumbs is similar to AndAndo, but each has a different (and overlapping) feature set. Crumbs shows all the technical data overlaid on the realtime map instead of in a dialog, but AndAndo is able to export data. I found AndAndo's path simplification function interesting, since it reduces the number of points (and thus the complexity) in the recording. I was able to improve on that idea. Anyhow, I hope I'm not the only one who finds this useful =p

I never saw that commercial, but it sounds about right -- I (and the commercial) was referring to the breadcrumbs of Hไnsel and Gretel =D
Lol crumbs... I remember it being 1 of the first apps back in nov/dec
osnap. if that app's still on the market or available elsewhere, would you point me to it? i'd like inspiration/exercise
at any rate, i guess all Crumbs needs is some more polish and native/KML/GPX import/export...
So like... I think I've gotten the KML read support down; I just need to figure out the GUI. I also got unit conversion working; w00t =p
