Meebo now force closes when logging in using WiFi, but not GPRS.

This morning my partner mentioned that Meebo force closes whenever she logs in when the G1 is connected via WiFi, but it works fine when connecting through GPRS.

I checked on my phone, and it's exactly the same.

I've tried two different access points, so it's not the access point at fault, and they both work fine with other programs (browser, etc).

If the phone is connected through GPRS, when logging in to Meebo it connects and works fine.

If the phone is connected through WiFi, when logging into Meebo, it hangs for a short time then force closes (also tried waiting a while too).

If the phone is connected through GPRS, and you log into Meebo, and then switch to WiFi, it seems to remain connected fine.

So it's only when trying to log in to Meebo when the phone is already on a WiFi connection when it force closes.

Anyone else noticed this?

could you send me the .apk of this new file so i can out this bug

i dont have access to the market due to my fimware hmmm.

Thanks for the reply. However, they both seem to work fine now. Must have been a temporary glitch.

okay but can you still send the .apk if you can lol

using mybackup or astro to get the .apk file

Btw, when you say "this new file"... I'm not sure if you think I've recently updated this - I haven't. The last update was just over a week ago on the 19th of March (indeed the files in the APK archive match this date). This version (version 12) has been working fine until this morning, and works fine again now.
