    Default market taking up to much space


    when i first got my g1 the market only took up like 4mb. now its at 11. how do i fix this?

    Move the cache to the SD card.

    Maybe the OP posted this to see the similar threads that are generated below (under the quick reply box).

    The 4th option I see has the answer and is even titled
    Solved! - Market eating up space
    There are no stupid questions, only people who refuse to use the SEARCH button.

    People can be really mean here. Anyways, if the market gets too large, it will generally clear itself and reduce to less than 100KB, so you could just wait until your phone does it on its own. However, I somehow managed to get the internal memory down to zero MB (like i posted here: http://androidcommunity.com/forums/f...832/#post92695), and got fed up and rooted my phone lol.

    My market got up to 20MB, then one day, it dropped down. It is currently at 8MB

    wow ur really mean, have some patience or here's some food for thought, if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all.

    I am also just noticing this issue, my market is currently at 14MB.

    It will automatically clear itself when you need space. I found out when you get the low storage memory ... DO NOT PANIC! Android will scan ur phone automatically and clear up space/cache on you applications such as the android market
