lost in Brooklyn NY GPS my Hero! Battery Villan!

i was traveling to coney island with a friend last night and he had missed a turn so we got lost. i sd i have gps on my phone. mind you i had about 85% batt life. we get the directions to the belt pkw which took about 15 min. to get there. now my batt is at 10%. i turned it off, got to our destination and turned it back on to call my girl. "tada!" batt life back to about 75% and lasted me a while without gps on. so theres is something wrong with the scale of the battery.

basicly a pointless post. but i just wanted to say i thought i would never use the gps but it worked out damn good. the next android phone should def. have a larger battery as a must.

yeah, I have noticed really erratic battery status as well. I was below red (the "crossed out" battery), turned the phone off for a while and went out for a drink, turned it back on and it was on green, then over the next few min went to orange. weird.

This happend to me last weekend i was lost in downtown LA and i had a good battery going then after we got to our destination i was in the red! I hate the battery! it is the only downfall and i may add that i charged my phone fully at 1pm and it was dead by 6 or 7 pm sucks!

add on i only placed one call for about 5 min sent 10 txts and checked email like 4 times for a min or 2.
