somebody help! I have already been to their google group website and haven't found the answer there. I downloaded some skins onto my computer and then onto my sd card. I installed OI file manager and Unzip. I first tried to add the zipped file as a skin but it said "skin install failed." Then I unzipped and tried adding the folder but that doesn't work either. It said "Access_denied." What am I doing wrong? I noticed there was a "slide-unlocker" folder and even tried moving it to there, but nothing seems to work. Feedback, please. Thanks!

Do not unzip the skin. Put zip on you sd card. Open lock 2.0. Select add skin from sd card. Select zip in oi manager and it will load.

Keeping the screen touch detection on would be a huge waste of the battery.
    Yeah your right.

Has anyone noticed that this app DRAINS the battery like crazy?
I couldn't stay charged for more than a few hours.
Uninstalled it and am back to my 10-12 hour charge.
Damnit. I liked this app, too.

An android app cannot keep the phone awake unless it has wake lock permission. This app does not have that permission (you can see the permission list when you install the app). so your phone is definitely sleeping.

After installing the newest version, my G1 went straight to Lock 2.0, not displaying the Android Menu Lock screen.

Now, for some reason, it keeps bringing up the standard Menu Lock screen, requiring me to press Menu twice!

Weird... anyone else experience this problem?

Also, when it WAS working, if I implemented the passcode, I'd have to swipe once to get to the passcode screen, enter the pass code, and then swipe again. Seemed like an extra swipe... entering the correct code should take you to the Home Screen, in my opinion...

I never claimed it was awake.
All I said was with the application running (being the only new one I have installed) I have noticed my battery was shot. After uninstalling, it is back to normal. I was simply asking if anyone else had noticed.

Battery life does seem a little more poor since using this app. If I constantly was a heavy user of the phone throughout the day, it may be a problem. Most days, I make it all day before needing to charge, but if i'm listening to music, I may not.
