How do i set chompsms as the default messaging ?

There used to be a way for me to do this . It used to ask me if i wanted to set it as default but not anymore for some reason . So how do i do it ?

I'm guessing you have a shortcut that should use Chomp as your default txt, but instead it directs you to the generic phone text app (<essaging)?

To clear or change those, just go to "Home Settings > Applications > Manage Applications". Choose your standard messaging ap (called Messaging) and select "Clear defaults".

The next time you use the text shortcut you have set up, it'll give you that pop-up menu you referred to where it asks you which app to choose as a default. Go ahead and choose Chomp!

I tried doing this but there is no "Messaging" under "manage applications"... Someone please help me

UPDATE

I found my problem, I have to change the filter under manage applications to see "messaging" I hope this helps someone else, it has stumped me for days.....
