Is that for premium or unleaded? Either way still pretty high. Maybe it costs more to ship the gas to WA?

Alright guys, BETA 0.9 is released! You should get a prompt when you start GasBot if you haven't updated to the latest version yet. You can either download it from the link provided or just get it from the market. Let me know what you think!

I also wanted to thank all of my beta testers for helping me debug this puppy! It was a big release and would've fell on it's face if it wasn't for them helping me find the issues. Thanks guys!

    New Features:
    • App will actively poll the GPS unit for your current location instead of pulling the last known location. Please note that this will cause the app to take a little while longer while starting up.
    • The search by address functionality is now complete allowing you to search by full address, just city and state, just state, or just zip code. We've allowed the maximum in flexibility.
    • The station listing page has changed drastically. It now shows the station logo so you can quickly recognize which stations are which. Clicking on the result tile will now give you more information like when the price was reported by the station and how much the other grades of fuel they offer are.
    • The map screen now allows for easier Google Maps style zooming in and out. It will also allow you to toggle between map and satellite mode.
    • Clicking directions will take you to Google Maps to give you driving directions. When you click it, it'll ask if you want to use the browser or maps. I suggest setting Maps as the default.
    • Back button now enabled. Rather than having to click new search. You can just hit the back button to go back to previous pages.

    also.. i got .9...

when it lists the gas prices around my area, the formating is all messed up.

the reported time, gas type and the map an directions buttons are pushed off to the right side.

edit: also, i hit the "by address" button. entered an address. Saved it. then tried searching an address and it just takes me to the form to add another address.

Try backing out of the app and restarting it. I haven't seen any issues with the formatting.

ya i cant reproduce the formatting issue,it was weird. but when its formated right, those buttons are in a dropdown box.

love the app. youre making good progress. fast even.

how about, when you search by a saved address. back out then click "search by location" it brings up the list that was associated with the saved address. seen that?

you know what there must be something wrong with my phone. cause i backed out of the app, restarted it. and it still pull up that old list.

Let me take a look and see if I can replicate that issue. It might be something going on with your server session.

Remember, if the search radius is somewhat large, and the two locations are close, it would make sense that the lists look the same since it is sorted by price. If you really believe this is the case (that it is showing you the wrong list), make your search radius 1 mi and ensure that the saved location is at least one mile away from your current location.

Good point. I hadn't even thought of that. I figured something might've gotten cached.

the locations are exactly 50.7 miles apart. and my radius is set to 10 miles.

I did notice however, when the app was pulling that old list, the gps icon wasnt showing.
