Ah nice idea but I still want multi touch.
Why would you need multi-touch to zoom in on a web page when all you need to do is use a finger in a circular motion? spinning it clockwise zooms in and counter clockwise zooms out. Theres an idea for all you developers.
Ah nice idea but I still want multi touch.
i think i just agreed with jrok, there's a first. first b!tchz![]()
Wow that was an original idea.... There's no way that you got that idea from the HTC touch diamond or pro...considering it does exactly that. I mean it would be a nice addition but just so you know, multi-touch isn't just for zooming. As a matter of fact, thats a small fraction of the what multi-touch is used for. It can be used for things such as virtual instruments, like guitar, so you can strum multiple strings at a time, as well as making texting on a virtual keyboard much more efficient. In addition, many more interesting apps would be available in the market capable of doing numerous things that aren't yet possible on the android OI. Next time lets try to know a little more about something before we put it down in exchange for someone elses idea.
Sorry by the way for sounding like a complete a**hole, its just what I do.
Never used either of those phones but thats good to know they do that. That means pretty soon they should add something like that instead of the plus and minus buttons.
I hate the plus and minus zooming. Bc it always zooms in too close or too far. I smell a update .
Hold on i just realized something. How would we do the clock zooming without moving the page? I watched the touch diamond zooming and that wasnt zooming on the screen . So how would that work?

yeah multi-touch would allow us to see games that use the accelerometer.... we've all seen the ipod games commercial...well imagine flying or driving with the accelerometer steering, while holding a gas button with one thumb and pressing a fire button simultaneously.....
:::::just picture mario kart 64 for the example::::::
...yeah we'd need multi-touch for that![]()
Um can someone please explain how the clock zooming would work without moving the page?
I suppose it could be done with a press and hold function. Press and hold somewhere on the screen, after a second or 2 some icon would pop up to confirm zoom mode and you could clock zoom without moving the page.
