Facebook App for the Google Android Phone

I love my G1 phone, almost more than my blackberry curve.

Looks like there is a new upgrade to the facebook app for the phone. Still appears to be missing two major features. The first being able to upload a picture directly to fb, the second the ability to comment.

Am I missing something or are these features already available?

I've been uploading pics and commenting... *shrugs*...

It does have it. If I remember correctly, when you are in the Facebook app, you press menu key to upload the pictures.

I am able to do those with the FBook app as well.

No, you can not comment. In fact, you can't even READ other people's comments with Fbook. BTW, those of you who are getting ready to angrily argu with me, "commenting" is NOT posting your status on your wall. Commenting is leaving a comment about someone else's posts.

If I see someone post something, I click on their name. From there, I am able to click on their wall and comment. I can also read other people's comments from there.

Yea I can post and upload, But I upload through PixelPipe much easier. I can comment and read other peoples comments I dont know what this guy is talking about not being able to comment and stuff. What I would like to see is picture comments.....

No. This is not commenting. This is "writing on their wall." In your mind, you may be commenting," but technically speaking, you are not. And this isn't just semantics. The OP very rightly pointed out a feature lacking in the mobile facebook. He was talking about what Facebook considers commenting. Fbook does not have this feature.

Honestly, I'm so sorry. No you can't. Posting and reading the contents of posts on people's walls is NOT commenting.
