DivX / XviD Support

Has anyone heard anything about DivX / XviD codecs being made available for the G1?

Well I am sure, since it is open source. It won't be long before Divx or Xvid or a programmer working with either, releases an all in one player with correct codecs. Other options are a version of TCMP or possibly VLC player. If there is video play back, then it is possible. Remember since there is no phones out yet just the developer kits, it has yet to gather all the attention from possible programmers. Some prefer to use actual hardware rather than emulators.
