You forgot about the large size.
I wasn't sure what to expect, but it makes sense once you download it. All it is is an interface that looks like an old rotary phone, so you can "dial" your number instead of "pushing" it.
It maintains nostalgic value (for us old timers) for maybe 3 seconds. Then you realize that a) there's a reason you can't buy a rotary phone anymore...it takes too long to dial; b) if you don't do it right, you'll miss the number (just like on a rotary phone!), and c) the sound effects are loud and crappy.
Fail.

ROFL why so serious?
IMO it's a funny hilarious joke program that actually works. I read the reviews and I'm wondering if I'm the only person who isn't taking this program seriously. It won't replace the voice dialer or regular dialer of the phone by any means, but it makes for an occasional laugh that doesn't take up much space nor does it get in the way. Also pretty entertaining for a couple of laughs when showing the phone off to others.
Spring is upon us! Woo hoo!!
I saw a bluetooth headset, which was in the shape of an old time telephone handset... it was pretty hillarious!
Imagine, driving down the freeway, holding an old fashioned telephone to your ear, talking away... I"m SURE you'd get a few stares!
See, I've seen that one, and actually wanted that. It's funny, but still practical. The rotary dial, on the other hand, reduces practicality. It's funny for a little bit, and it does technically work, but the sound gets annoying and ends up just taking up a little more of the limited internal memory on the phone.
On a more general front, I guess my issue is that so much of the iPhone's app market is eye candy rather than actually useful <cough light saber cough get rich cough>, and I had higher hopes for the Android Market.
