Cupcake Widget Challenge

I don't know if this has been posted before or not, As you all know cupcake release has provided APIs for developers to develop custom widgets on the default home screen. This is definitely interesting and im pretty sure everyone as me is pretty excited to see what developers can bring.
Now there's a contest called (Droid Dev Challenge) made to encourage the developers to make some high-quality widgets

the winner as you can see from the site will receive the total donated amount by the Android fans.

I urge all of you people to support this cause and donate if you can or at least spread the word about it or suggest a cool/useful widget idea or digg it. Developers out there give it a try and let the best win.

I myself despite my lack knowledge in Android API (im still in the early stages of learning it) have decided to join, first i need to do some sort of proof of concept for my widget and if it turned out to be doable i'm going to join.
