compass in maps?

is there any way to get the actual way you're facing via compass in maps? a la iphone 3gs? i'm only asking because sometimes i have no idea which way to go when i'm using the gps. haha.

the update for google map shows an arrow pointing in the direction you moving.

I would like to suggest also that you learn to read a map properly so that you can tell which direction you are going in :P

What did you do before GPS?

(if you're in the middle of a salt flat with no landmarks then you are forgiven, if you're in a city...)

download spare parts from the market and there is a option to turn on the compass on the map
