I scanned a 1lb bag of M&M's and I got a online store that had them for $6.71. LOL Now it also told me Monopoly World Edition Was $27.00 in WalMart but I just got it from there and it was $29.99. This was last week. IDK. Oh well.
Both of these aps are pulling the price for the website and not the in store price. I keep getting prices for items in wal mart that are $10 cheaper:
Rocky Collection(50 in store; phone says 40)
Band of Brothers-Blu Ray(64 in store; phone says 55)
I asked the lady to price check but both of the prices were accurate. Any idea what's going on?

i dont even get the in store prices i only get online idk why
Cause the instore prices are different than the online store prices...
There both trash they dont work right at all i never get local stores just online stores and all the prices are way off ur just way to much. so lol there all failed apps to me.
yet some people do the majority of their shopping online. my MiL is a good example. granted, it's not the be-all-end-all even of online shopping but it certainly can make life easier.

THIS GUY ROCKS! Loving his ROM so far! And for some reason, THIS impressed me!
you have to go into the options and turn the local stores option on and enable the zip code or the location based search... both apps work fine for me but sometimes i have to try both apps on the scans cause sometimes the product is not recognized by one or the other...
example i scanned superbad after i bought it from walmart @ 13.00 bucks, and could have gotten it online for 7 bucks brand new from j&r.
More often than not I just find myself going to pricegrabber or google to check prices. Having to scan the barcode and getting a less than thorough comparison of online prices (almost never any local) doesn't make sense when I can type the item's name in half the time and get a more accurate picture of the price.
I stopped using ShopSavvy last week when they had Wii Music listed for $19.99 at Toys R Us, which was incorrect. I don't see the point of these apps if they are inaccurate.
