Can't wait for paid apps

So far im pleased with the apps that have come out to date, but i could imagine that when the paid apps are released we can start to really enjoy this phone. I took a look over at the iphone apps website, and boy did i get jealous lol, but i know the G1 has plenty of potential so im not too worried. And we have to remember this phone has only been out for a few months. I read that we should be seeing paid apps as early as this month, but i havent really seen any yet..I hope im not the only impatient one here but when the paid apps come out im sure they'll be really good. Has anyone found any paid apps?

This thread inspired me to look at some iphone apps too and man we are getting gyped.

Crazy tanks look awesome. G1 is more powerful than iphone right? We don't have any apps even close to looking as good as those.

Just because there are no paid apps in the Market today doesn't mean that there aren't any. I'm currently running Nitrodesk's Touchdown to access my Exchange mail. That app rocks and has support vastly superior to many/most higher-priced apps.

Well just to remind everyone jealous of iphone apps....the G1 is like 3 months old and I believe the sdk and such was released a month after the release for devs.

Give them some time, eh?

Yeah im trying to be patient..tough though when my friends are always comparing their iphones to my g1 lol hate them!

Well I'd feel better knowing if the iphone had crappy apps 4 months after realease too but I don't know.

Not to say we only have crappy apps we have some truely awesome ones but they are outnumbered by a great margin.

Well, I love this new SMS backup app on the market for your Gmail account, I'm in the process of clearing out all my old IM threads...

And this app was FREE!
