Upcoming Changes for Bloo 1.2.1 (this is a live list as I am working on)

- No longer caption required for photo uploading
- View your friends albums and photos
- Create albums
- More profile information when viewing a profile
- Depending on your connection speed the feed will or will not load the profile pictures (these are the ones that take most of your time and this will speed up your feeds)

Don't be too quick to judge? It's a review. Of course it will get better with time, but it doesn't do the app or its users any good to give it credit before credit is due. Your review, while a thorough rundown of features, didn't list any of these faults, so I was just pointing them out, as they are substantial enough to me that I'm not ready to rely on Bloo as my primary FB app yet.

Like I said, the competition is good, and future development will help both. Let's just not count our chickens before they hatch. Am I right?

I am just going to keep both. They are relatively small apps and I still have 40MB left on my G1. They are both nice apps and I am glad the developers are paying attention to the needs/wants of Android users.

I have no problem supporting and promoting both apps. Well, any app that does what it is supposed and is updated regularly.

A man against an Army...

I support both devs and the friendly comp that is becoming of this. I hope that each app makes the other grow as well as the other. Im just glad to see that android is still making strides due to the dedication that is given by devs like these two!!!

Thanks, all is appreciated!

alright i just found my first beef with bloo.... i wiped my phone to go to cyan's latest build and when i went to the bloo app (didnt need to reinstall because it's on the sd) it makes me go to my realy facebook page ad allow permisions again... then it was acting funny so i uninstalled/reinstalled and it made me allow permisions... again... so every time you install it you have to get that code thing... kind of annoying...

co sign

and the babbler dev already mentioned he's aware of the app always trying to make you sign in

he also stated if you only have 1 fb account why bother signing out in the first place? when you're not using babbler its not going to kill your battery, its asleep.. the resigning thing only happens when you sign off

babbler it is for me, but i wish both devs success in the android world nothing is wrong with friendly competition

JohnnyLicious, how can you say that "Babbler gets an update from a week to 2 weeks" when it's been out for about 2 weeks and was updated 8 times already ?

And that's not true either, there were two urgent bug-fixes (for bugs reported by our users) during the last 24 hrs.

Anyway, just dropped in to say that another update is coming in a matter of hours that improves caching of feed, album, friends etc. so that data is retained when you close the application and then start it up again!
