I'm in London, UK and i cannot access beebplayer on Tmobile 3G (or wifi)

Any ideas why some can, and some cant?

    Edit:
If i have wifi enabled - nothing will load, even the 3G streams
If i have wifi disabled - the 3G streams will load and the wifi ones do not work (they appear to load the 3G stream again)

Also works fine for me on T-Mobile, do you have the ContentLock turned on with t-mobile (I think it is on by default). Log into your account on the t-mobile website and you can find it in there somewhere (I remember finding it was a PITA). Once you have disabled it you need to turn your phone off and leave it off for a few minutes so you time out on the network.

This is using a G2 Touch on Flext 40 price plan.

Here is a strange one, with my T-Mobile G1 (which I rooted) I could never get this to work over 3G, now I have bought a HTC Hero/G2 Touch and it works perfectly. Same contract and everything, it must have been something on the G1 that was blocking it.

It works fine on 3G but at home I'd prefer to use wifi. I cannot find how I can switch between 3G and wifi.

Hi using beeb player on htc hero with three. It is working fine on wireless at home but does not work on 3g. Is it a fault with three or do i need to change any phone settings?

In case this helps others: To use with home wifi I had to open up UDP ports in the range: 14000 - 25000 for the internal i.p. I use with the Motorola Milestone.

I don't get a good enough 3G connection in my neck of the woods to try via the cell network.

    Cheers

    Chris.

Just got my first Android phone, HTC Desire. Beebplayer looks great but I cannot play live radio on 3g or WiFi. Any ideas why or what I can do to fix it? I do not appear to be alone as other owners of the Desire have reported the same.

I don't know if this is a FAQ but could we have a version of Beebplayer that allows you to select a higher quality stream? I have an HTC Desire, with a resolution of 800x480, it can handle streams of rather higher quality than the ones I can get through Beebplayer (over wifi, anyway).

    Thanks!

    James
