I'm hoping beejive steps up to the plate soon
just curious because the one that comes with the g1 is horrible. I tink they do this on purpose because for some reason the gtalk messenger is just fine while aim/msn/yahoo keeps loggin on and off.
i wish Meebo would update their app, get the issues fixed and then we'd finally have a useable AIM app
beejive = q2 of 2009
i know.. thats why it suprises me that meebo isnt on top of their app, cuz if they get it ironed out now, then they would grab market share for IM on the G1 before these other guys get in the game
i hope soon as in this month lol, if i cant get this thing to start msgin people normally ima just cancel and go back to my BB. I just cant see myself payin 35 bux ontop of my service plan for something that doesnt work.
Maybe I'm Crazy.. but
What I don't understand is why
AOL doesn't create an official AIM app or update the default one.
..........
You would think that there would many more IM apps in the market.
But I think in 09 there will many more to choose from.
It's called a G1
Regardless, it's still a major problem when I'm stuck texting AIM. AIM Mobile is such a downgrade from regular AIM. If you let the threads get too long, the phone has to be rebooted 'cause it freezes. Also, after around 100 back and forth there's a warning message saying you're sending too many SMS messages. I'm willing to pay for an AIM app lol, I just miss the one the sidekick had. What's the problem?
