Also, it seems some people have problems opening the link in the chrome browser. if that is the case then try the steel browser.

I downloaded it and noticed that you had added Airlink SkyIPCam support, which I happen to have. However I can't get it to connect to my camera. It's got some generic models to select from but I don't understand the differences. I've got a SkyIPCam310 Camera on a DynDNS address.
The waiting message when trying to get video is kind of useless. I can't tell if I'm getting a IP resolution error, log in error, or something else. Maybe a more detailed waiting message would help people trouble shoot when things don't work correctly.
Because of the waiting message I don't know where to proceed in trouble shooting the settings. I'm NOT getting video from the camera and have tried the different model options. (Generic No PT, Generic No PT 2, Generic PT, Generic PT2 or MPG4, 500 Series) What does PT stand for anyway?
Details on the Camera: Has two video modes on the website, java and activex. Also has a static picture on the landing page that refreshes with the page.
I'll give it another try later and jump on to some of the public cams to just play with the software if I can't get mine working.
seems there is a bug with the carrier for some kernel revisions. we have noted it with the carrier. if you have a problem downloading/installing try using wifi instead of cellular.
whenever generic is listed it means that there are typically similar pieces to the backend so we just use generic to cover most devices from that manufacturer.
P = pan
T = tilt
Z = zoom
so in your case the PT = pan & tilt model
if you contact us directly via the website we can try to assist you directly for your camera. there are tons of cameras on the market with so many firmware revisions which is partly why there are so many generic models in some cases.
did you get the public cameras working? this is usually the starting point to see if you are able to configure the app properly and show a connection to a camera. if you can successfully connect to these cameras then we know you can configure the app properly so there is a connection issue to your specific camera.
Hey, this looks pretty sweet. Good alternative to viewing my cams through the Zoneminder mobile interface! Are you planning a Blackberry version?
Also, it crashed while entering information into the login screen. I filled out Name, IP, then clicked port, decided it probably has a default and clicked 'username' and it forced quit. It seems to happen every time i switch from 'port' leaving it empty, to another field.
the blackberry and windows mobile versions are on www.totalcontrolapp.com (including free demo trial versions) and the iphone/itouch version is on the app store.
just input the port you want. it should default to 80 if you leave it blank. i will double check the issue you are having but in the meantime it sounds like you just have to input the port #.
new version is up to correct the port field issue. let me know if you still have a problem.
