Android command line?

yeah,

the whole thing seems kinda redundant. most settings you would want to change (and i'm only assuming) should be able to access via GUI. something that would require shell access i would think would be better left to a PC.

thats just me i guess.

Mebbe but I can just see me writing some program that screws up the ARP cache under an extraordinarily weird set of circumstances when I'm away from my computer and I just don't wanna reboot the phone (how long does that take, BTW, does anybody know?).

Yeah, if you're running one of the modded RC30s out there, you're pretty much set. I like Shell, myself now.
