android app Religion(Holy Bible)

Hey new to the android comm. Cant wait to get my hands on the new device!! Quick question I know this is still new and the phone is not in the public hands but is there any chance there will be a Holy bible app King James New standard etc for the phone by anyone.This will probably my everything phone and I have my Bible with me and the would be get to use the G1 when I have down time.Thanks in advance and peace to all Androidians!!!

Well:

Judging by the fact that many complain about the Apple Apps store as having "nothing but bibles" in it, I'd imagine it's apparently pretty easy to program one. Take that plus the abundance of bible websites out there, (mobile bible comes to mind) and I'd say it'll have a bible in it one way or another the day you get your hands on it.

Hello jlew, im pretty sure there will be some bible apps written. Keep checking back from time to time because im sure there will be more info on it. In the mean time enjoy enjoy the forum!

Honestly what I think would be nice to see would be an app front end to biblegateway.org - Easy access to everything in practically every major translation.

Thanks for the link - I installed the app from Cadreworks and downloaded the King James Version. It works pretty well - and they list on the site that they have some planned improvements in the works (like a search feature). I wonder why they haven't put it on the Android Market?
