Android 2.2 a.k.a froyo

Hello guys,

I heard that the android 2.2 will be coming soon. I am expecting some of the following feature in it.

- New Kernel
- Equalizer in music player and new interface of music player.
- Video Call
- Gallery has refresh option.
- Flash 10.1
- HTML 5 support

Please share your thoughts and what is your expectation from android 2.2 a.k.a froyo?

honestly, i would love the new equalizer. i could do without video calling, gallery most def needs a refresh option, html5 is a must have too but flash 10.1? why? i hope theres an option to shut it off, i have no need to see ads and porn slow my browsing down

flash 10.1 will open a new scope of playing flash based games on android phone directly into the browser. BTW fennec (firefox) is on the way to android, you can have flash block plugin to block p.o.r.n flash/ad..

i guess me and you both have different needs, I dont see how i can make flash fit in my mobile browsing. its not feasible, for me at least. im all for it as long as it can be manually disabled.

Yes.. alright buddy. It's your view. After all everybody has their own need and usage. I respect that.

what other things do you expect?

a graphics standard so gaming can finally become a reality; hopefully, a push to the OEM's to allow for larger flash built in for storage, or allow the consumer to save and run apps from the sdcards. I would also like to see something fresh and new in its mp3 player. something to one up all the other phones out there.

also, when I hit the home button, i want to see more then just the last 6. i want to see all the other apps that are still running too. and of coarse, battery optimization.

hmm... If I am not wrong, when you press home button (for long) it will display last accessed application not the running applications. And yes battery optimization would be good.
