    Default Aim application

    Jesus, can we get a GOOD AIM App?

    Everything I've tried on this phone sucks badly.

    The built in AIM is horrible, the Meebo AIM one constantly signs you off, wtf?!

    Your blaming the makers of aim programs for the G1 for the self-centered-ad-driven-not open source-money loving-credit card charging company that AOL itself has/is/was/and always will be.

    My guess is AOL doesn't want people to make programs for AOL. If they did AOL would stand for America On Linux and not "America Online". Its a outdated and struggling half baked partition of a once useful company which is striving to achieve what google is.

    Simply put.

    Use Gtalk.

    When luke went up against vader he was loosing mostly because he learned the truth... Vader was his father. When pushed out to the edge of that platform Vader said "I am your father!". Which luke said no to. Darth Vader cut his hand off and luke went falling into the abyss.

    After that he got a new hand ... a, "Android" hand. And like his father, he went on his way to the darkside. The moral of the story is.....

    Chicken butt.

    I hope that helped. <3

    Or it'll just coax somebody into making a video on youtube of a fully functional aim app on the g1 that way hundreds of posts pops up until someone suggests that its actually a ipod with a g1 cover....

    Note : G1 "Multi-touch" video's.

    I use google talk for tech support for most of my clients. (It's easy, and I had previously set them all up gmail accounts anyways)

    Tis. I've never had that problem with Meebo, unless when my phone goes idle and obviously it disables WiFi..
    Ps = (1.5 x 6 x .75) / {(4/3) (pi) [(31.039 x 10^15) (46.5 x 10^9)]^3}
    Seems like a waste..
