Question 1.6 is out. Any app with multitouch support?

    Hi,
tmobile just upgraded my g1 to 1.6.

I was excited to check out multitouch support.
But to my disappointment, Google Maps still doesn't support multi-touch.

Anyone has spotted any multi-touch app?

pretty sure that multitouch was only a rumor during the very early mentions of 1.6, that has since been written off as untrue.

But it seems that Donut provides the ability to create new gestures developers can add to applications on Donut. My interpretation is that developers could use this to add multitouch gestures to their Android application if they like. Am I misreading this?

    From Google's website:

    Gestures

A new gestures framework provides application developers with a framework for creating, storing, loading, and recognizing gestures and associating them with specific actions.
Developers can use the new GestureBuilder tool included in the Android 1.6 SDK to generate libraries of gestures to include with their application.

It doesn't say anything about multi-touch gestures and I'm sure they would have mentioned it if they had added it.

There is multi touch on my stock web browser and the "pinch" gesture to zoom in and out works great. Not sure if this is because I have Cyanogen 4.1.999 or not though...

IMO Multi touch pinch to zoom is junk get over not having it it sucks anyway atleast on the Android OS since there isn't enough hardware to make it decent.
[The hero does it. Yea well that's a Hero.]
