Default G1 screen very wobbly, bottom dented

so ive had my g1 for about 2 days now, and ive been taking it to school and everyone wants to see it n everything, and this one kid comes up and asks if he can see it and im like yea just be really careful (at this point my screen was not wobbly, nor did it creek) i look away... look back hes trying to pull the screen off of the phone or something. like he didnt know how to open it, so he decided to pull on it... hard. then im like dude wutr u doin stop and i reach out to take it and he drops it............ then it hits the bottom of a desk leg (metal) pretty hard. SOB, i pick it up, its cracked in on the bottom, like a little dent, theres a scratch on the side on the groove of the phone, and the screen is very wobbly/creeky when closed.

do you guys think tmobile will replace it? i have insurance

If you have insurance they will always replace it, you need to pay the deductalbe wich is like 140 though.

Lesson #1 next time let them look and not touch.

Yes you can put in a claim but you be putting out an additional $130 and probably just shelled out $179, $299 or over $300.

Word to the wise dont let jackass people play with your phone....now it is going to cost you, I only let people I know and trust use things of mine that are worth more than a few dollars just for that reason. Most other people have no respect or care for anything of value that is not theirs...sad but true, wish you luck on getting it fixed and or replaced bud

I try not to use my phone in front of others who might want to feel/touch/hold it. I don't want to be mean but I just can't trust them with it. So I text when no one is looking.

Yup! I always go by the old " Touch with your eyes, not with your hands" rule! Unless they're sitting on my bed when handling it ( for some reason! ). lol!
