So I went over to my local corporate T-Mobile Store (or should I say Pod?). I asked them if they had a demo model that I could see. He nonchalantly tossed a beautiful black G1 on the glass top table. I was awestruck.

First thing I noticed - this phone is smaaaaaaaall. It does not look anything like the pictures. It fits GREAT in the hand and I didn't even notice the chin. I really liked the look of it.

The touch screen is uber responsive. That thing flies, flipping through...

Just thinking ahead to the 22nd when I'll order my phone. I can't get this thing off my mind!

Should I get the Black or the White? There have been a lot more pictures of the black these past few days since many people have received their phones. Although I must say it looks very slick, I still think the (new) white one looks very good.

If you asked me this morning, my thoughts about T-Mobile would have been a big thumbs down (read my previous blog post). But I called them again, one last time before caving in and pre-ordering a phone for the full price.

A happy voice greeted me at the other end. I asked her of my problem, not expecting for anything to happen. "Hold on, let me redirect you to someone who can help you better"...

On September 28th, I was excited for the new G1 phone and was ready to jump ship as soon as possible and pre-order my phone right there and then.

I went into the shiny new G1 page on the T-Mobile website, clicked on "Get it Now!" and was totally psyched to order this amazing device.

It asked for $299. I was a bit skeptical as it was being advertised everywhere else for the lower $180 price. So I called in T-Mobile, asking why it was asking me for this much higher...
