Adding a design like this with the gems seems cool, would look nice for a lady.. This seems tedious, Cant wait to see your art work/ master piece..

I'd like to put a skin-it on mine and then stick stuff on it to flow with its designs..

The spoiler is only available with the GSXRT version. And remember, the carbon fiber adds 5mghz to your processor speed!

Mainly its because I wanted some sort of protection. The plastic cases I have seen so far are fugly and bulky. To me carbon fiber looks nice, and is also stronger. Plus the 3m adhesive means its wont come apart on its own.

Its not a skin. Its 3mm carbon fiber that I cut with a pair of scissors (you can see the imperfect edges). I used about 5 dollars of material from a 25 dollar sheet. I will be redoing it soon with a sharper cutting instrument, and maybe a dremel for the edges. Need spare time though.

Edit: Well, I guess it is a skin, but its not a mass-marketed, off-the-shelf, item.

You should totally buy a demo/dummy G1 off ebay, lay your own carbon, or fiberglass on that. that would be nice.

Waterjetting face plates of thin gauge stainless steel or aluminum with adhesive backing would be sweet.. I might try and mach some up.. I use plasma, so it will not be as clean but.. still can perfect it then take it to my local waterjetter.
