every one in a while you may need to place a call using *67 so you can block your number from showing up on someone else's caller ID..

whether its a prank call, or you just have someone who's been ducking your calls, you need to use *67 on occasion.

There should be an app that allows you to open your contacts list and call someone, but it automatically adds *67 before the call. It's too annoying to manually edit someone's number and then call them with *67, then change their number back after the call is done.

Should be a relatively easy app to make. Wish I had experience with java.

I also searched for an API to display / hide the caller id. Not succesfully though. Does anyone know which methods or variables can be modified to enable/disable sending your outgoing caller id?

Just inject *67 into the number to call before the phone calls it.
