What do you mean?
I've had one replacement but it was at least a few weeks or a month ago and I was charged $8.95 for shipping but that was it.

Have you had any notice of an update?
Go to Settings > About phone > and then look at the Build number at the bottom.
Does it say TC4-RC30?

I'm getting a replacement phone due in a few days (they comped me express shipping when I was just trying to get ground shipping waived). Rather than accept a rootless phone I'm getting a replacement for something that really isn't that big of a deal but is a manufacturing defect, sunken R key.
If the new one has RC30 I'm sending it back until I get one that doesn't. Apparent;y the shipping is easier for them to waive is replacements take place within 30 days of each other.

Yup, got my replacement yesterday (12/22). No creaks, tight slide/hinge, super solid, almost a different phone entirely from my original loosey goosey white g1.
However, it had rc30. :( bastsards! Nothing a mainboard swap from the white<->black one couldn't fix, though... :D

Why Did All of you guys recieve a replacement?.
(Not Just because It was a "Defect" lol), Like what Is your guy's Story? Only The Sunk-in R Key?

My first replacement was genuinely annoyance with the screen squeaking. The last one the R key was sunken in. The replacement I got today has a sunken in R key as well and it honestly works worst than the one I'm going to be sending back. This is dumb.
I wonder how many RC29s there are left to be sent out/

You Told them that The Screen Was squeaking and they gave you a replacement? lol.
My Phone Has Been squeaking almost since I got the phone, I thought it was one of those things that you have to Just Deal with lol .
Btw, Just Send Back the one they gave you, and keep your old one, I Did that Before With A Sidekick, The Problem with the sidekick was that The Ball Was always abnormal lol .

I want RC29 and I'm going to keep getting replacements until I either have A) a keyboard that is totally normal or B) RC29.
Preferably both.
