Hey all, I can't believe it, my g1 has bricked itself. :( :(
On the bus yesterday I was using as i normally would, I installed an app from the market place (can't remember the app - not sure if this might have had something to do with it), soon after my G1 started really lagging, I thought it must have been a memory leak or something so rebooted. After rebooting it seemed to just get worse, constantly freezing with major lag, i ended up turning it off for a while. Later on in the evening I tried to turn it on however the lag was so bad I couldn't unlock the phone. This morning I tried again and managed eventually navigate my way to the username & email login - after attempting to login with the extreme lag for about an hour I managed to get in however it couldn't load the desktop.
I went to T-Mobile and by the time i got there nothing was appearing on the screen, they told me they could send it off for repair but i'll be without it over the christmas/new year holidays :( I thought i'd check out if anyone had a similar problem online but the more i mess with it the more im convinced its a hardware issue not software.
Anyone seen/heard of anything like this?
cheers
