the G1 stars gmail e-mails as a different colored star

When you star an e-mail in gmail using the G1, the star is not the normal yellow, it is a silverish, blueish color. Anyone know what they are called?

Hint: try searching for "is:starred" vs. "has:yellow-star". I cannot figure out what that other colored star is!

you sure it's not just a theme you have set in Gmail? i had mine set to "Shiny," so all of my stars were a bluish-gray. i just set mine back to default to see if i could reproduce what you're talking about. i starred an email via my G1, waited for my phone to synch and checked my Gmail inbox - the star was normal yellow. switched my theme back, it is now bluish-gray again (how it should be for the "Shiny" theme).

Makes complete sense, and thank you for taking the time to check that - I do have the theme shiny. Too bad the shiny stars don't work with the Lab that adds extra stars
