Besides the fact that the makers of this site got it all set up and is a great place to talk about android and the G1, WTF?
You just made yourselves look like the fricken national inquirer. A front page topic, what, to piss everyone off.
Sorry, it just upsets me that such a nice site would do this.

They posted a link to another website. The other website has been basically called out on the problem and I'm sure AC will be adjusting the entry shortly.
Take note, AC did NOT create this entry, it posted it from another website, which is what AC is, a collection of 'news' from other sites.

@OP:
And you just made yourself look like a big idiot by actually taking this post seriously. It doesn't matter if you believe the claims or not, but to actually start a thread about it is laughable :D

well they only need to only post official info because obviously this g2 phone is a BIG lie. i just got word from 2 tmobile reps that they have absolutely no idea of a g2 coming out. they even said it doesnt make sense. i sure was pissed when i read about this g2. atleast im relieved to know there is no such phone being released

Still, at least do some research before posting something that big. They even said they called it lol.

This is what I said in the other topic here...
-------------------------------------------------------
Either you guys trying to be scarastic (spelling?) or you guys are very gullible.
But than again, maybe you are gullible considering that you guys never believe that G1 was multi-touch capable. When you guys saw a demo of it, you made it like it's big news to everybody when in fact, it's old news.

i understand what point you are trying to make, BUT this is a. a forum b. not an official site for any major phone manufacturer, carrier, google or any other company in the oha, so therefore the aren't forced to any standards. that being said they do have standards, and this is one of the (if not the) best site for information and discussionin general regarding all things android. as for the
"article" they quoted it was a mistake, look how little time it took for the post to grow to three pages. reminds me of war of the worlds.
all that being said credible or not, you the reader are still responsible for whether or not you believe anything anywhere, you have to do your own research.
fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.
and i think we should all know the mobile world is susceptible to rumours.

no, this site has no news credibility IMO since it came out a year or so ago... granted a lot of their stories are true and accurate, and i still come here to grab tidbits of information, but typically the stories show much later than other "hot" sites, and any and all information about new phones i personally would not rely on until proven wrong... granted i've only been browsing the site since this summer, i haven't seen any groundbreaking news here that i haven't seen somewhere before

if you think t-mobile instore/customer service reps are the end all be all with their own products, i would think twice... tmonews.com typically knows about phones months before your average t-mobile rep even knows about it...
you know why? t-mobile doesn't tell their reps typically 2 or 3 weeks before the phone actually launches, so if they don't care to do their own research, then they won't know... only exception is a major phone release, which they may throw out early internally to get ready for marketing and preperations

even if the site proceeds to just collect information, don't be stupid and claim a particular statement to be absolutely true especially when it didn't even make the original statement. Believing and reposting every rumor released (but not claiming it is a rumor!) is pretty dumb and naive.
I am really laughing at the statement "we called it." BoyGeniousReport did the right thing.."yeah, we’re going to have to go ahead and file this one pretty low on the rumor totem pole, but supposedly T-Mobile is planning to release its second Android-powered handset just over a month from now."
