Lately, when I'm listening to music on my g1, the sound comes in and out as I walk. Not sure if this is the jack on the earphones, or a messed up jack on the phone. I still use the original headphones - anyone else having issues?

I guess I'll try getting a new pair as well. The standard headphones are terrible.

well I thought it was my phone so tmobile swaped it out for me and now I find out that it wasn't the phone it was actually my headphones. I am so pissed b/c I had to pay for them to ship me a new phone. Life sucks sometimes. So it's your headphones not the phonejack. sorry.
I don't even know where to buy new ones.

Mine sound pretty good. Strange unequal-length left and right ear-piece cords, but the sound good and are amplified well. Minimal earwax. $10 :D

Well, I'm glad to hear that it's more likely the headset - really didn't want to deal with a new phone. Sorry you had to.
I think I'll just buy a nice set of plugs and adapter.
