some things i'd like to see very soon...

- ability to organize icons on desktop and within folders. sorry to reference the iPhone, but i do like the "wobble" interface you get when you press and hold or whatever you do. it makes all of the icons wobble and then you can drag/arrange them - they all adjust as you drop the selected icon in its new location. currently, one has to do this one at a time, leading to "5 point turns." when you get into a folder, you have to drag them out and then back in again, in the order you desire. i'm just being hi-maintenance. ;)

- virtual keyboard. i'm pretty sure this is coming anyway, right?

- auto-rotate via accelerometer in more places. 100%, again, like the iPhone. i don't want to have to press "Menu" and then "Flip Orientation" to rotate my image viewer.

still love the F out of my phone! SOOO glad i went android. that's all for now!

You can create a folder on your "desktop" and drag icons into them on the G1... I have done it. And as for the "wobble" effect it gets very annoying because you can accidentally delete entire programs that way.

I think they can clean up how folders work on this phone.
- grid-guided icon arrangement.
- Folder Widget, same size as the search widget, allows me to add widgets to marquee through!! Sliding over this widget obviously prevents switching desktops.

Well that's all I can think about for folders on a phone.
