IMDb and TV.com

Hi guys, I've noticed I use my phone a LOT when watching TV on an evening to look up actors etc in TV shows and films. I think it would be great if there was something that could search IMDb or TV.com for actors, characters, film names and TV show/episode names (main thing for me would be put in a character or actors name and see what else they've been in)

the actual sites are far too big to use well on the G1!

For IMDb I use the iphone version at ihonemdb.com. That really helps. As for TV. com I have not been able to find a slimmed down version of it, I hope that they come out with one, cuz you are right, their site is too big.

Have any of you guys used WikiTap? I wonder if that app can be recoded to look up info from IMDB for the same search purpose, with links to relevant clips on YouTube

I think they blocked anyone accessing the data NOT on an Iphone or Mac system. The Android/Chrome-Webkit combo is for sure a red flag on their system and they've shut us out!

Can't even view it on my PC either.

It really isnt a "mobile" version of the site. It just puts the main page into a "mobile" page so it doesn't load all the front page stuff. After you search it goes back to the regular website...
