Hi
Bit of a weird one
I have an HTC Incredible S running Gingerbread 2.3.5
I use Hotmail through the phones email client and its been absolutely fine until a few weeks ago
Now it receives as normal but wont send any messages
I havent fiddled with the settings or updated anything in the timeframe its been playing up
My settings are:
Incoming
pop3.live.com
SSL
port 995
Outgoing
login required = checked
smtp.live.com
TLS
port 587
Incoming is still and always has been fine, which outgoing used to be until it stopped
Ive tried SSL and port 25 on outgoing with no joy either
The official error message I get from the setup screen is "cannot connect to the mail server to verify your account information"
Any ideas welcomed
