I been using the G1 ever since it came out and love the way this phone perform. But there is some mishap, maybe just for me that been a big bother, and a big headache too. First off, the notification sound would disappear once in a while. Sometime I can bring it back by closing some program, such as camera, or having to restart my phone. Which is sometime annoying. Two, my gf call me alot at night and it seem like everytime it is past 7:00 p.m. Pacific time, her phone call would go to voicemail. Sometime it ring once and go straight to voicemail. Talking to her everyday have giving me the ability to notice these pattern. The phone call going straight to voicemail is more apparent any time past 12:00 a.m. If its past midnight, goodluck in her call going through. If anyone have any suggestion, it would be helpful. It would give me some peace in mind to not argue with my gf everytime she call and it go to voicemail. Also, during the day all the call come in.

If you are using notifications off your SD Card -- you may have a problem with the card or the reader or even the files. If your audible notifications aren't working and they're from your phone then . . . you might need a new phone. If your call reception issues aren't cuz you have 1 bar and the phone is fading in and out (you can also go to the phone status menu to see signal strength, I get about -60-80db for 3-4 bars), then you should call TMo immediately, you might need a new phone. I've loved the calling on this phone, it's the best I've ever owned.

If you're "accidentaly" sending your girlfriend to voicemail and you don't know why . . . maybe you need a new girlfriend? hehe

My signal strength is -63dbm and 25 asu. it goes up to -85 dbm occasionally. I see 3 bar minimum. it does not drop below 3. I been on the tmobile forum and alot of people is getting the notification turn off as well. Some people dont even have the notification sound anymore. The signal does not get any lower then that and I dont know what else to try. Another forum said that sometimes the 3G affect the call by thinking the phone is "busy." I turn off the auto gmail sync to see if the syncing at those time affect it. Will post update later tonight.
