Where on the G1 do go to see the street view? I can only get so close before i cant get any closer.

hit menu when your in the map app and choose map mode one of them is street view then choose a street onn the map that supports it

When you open the map app, press menu -> map mode -> street view.

Ninja Chuck Norris Android needs to return his G1... doesnt know how 2 use it.
While map is on-screen, do the following:
Menu - Map Mode - Street View - Voila! (Duh! there's no voila)
(If the street is not enclosed with blue lines then street view is not available)

'Street View' is an option that you choose. If you do not see that as an option, then it is not available in your town (yet).
Go to Seattle or Sn Francisco and zoom in and you will see Street View as an Option.

menu. map mode. street view. move little guy to area on street. it has to be outlined in blue.

Ninja Chuck Norris Android needs to return his G1... doesnt know how 2 use it.
While map is on-screen, do the following:
Menu - Map Mode - Street View - Voila! (Duh! there's no voila)
(If the street is not enclosed with blue lines then street view is not available)
Ninja Chuck Norris Android needs to:
1. Karate Chop you into equal sized portions.
2. Take two teaspoons of cooking oil and pour into frying pan.
3. Cook rice for atleast 2-3 minutes, then add vegetables.
4. Add recently cut meat to frying pan along with teriyaki sauce.
5. Stir till cooked evenly and consume.:cool:

My street doesn't have street view yet but today I was driving down the road when I saw a guy setting up cameras . He was setting up cameras on orange tripods and the cameras were rotating. There were more cameras as I drove . I even stopped in front of it too get on google maps LOL. Do u think those cameras r for google street view?

i doubt it. google mounts panoramic cameras to the rooftop of cars.

Hey jr your killing me dude ! :):):) Those "cameras" on the orange tripods, are not cameras. They are lasers for land surveying.They monitor ground elevation.

R U sure they look like cameras and they were rotating . So i stopped in front of one and almost got hit from behind for nothing .

It's also possible that they are doing a 360 camera view for a website.
Long time ago, I went to a website that shows 360 view for Las Vegas. Don't ask me what the website is, I don't remember.
