My bse is coming. I have a couple scuffs/knicks on a corner of my bronze g1. Anyone restore their finish before applying skin?

Prevention before restoration. More than likely it will stay that way unless you want to reapply a coating constantly.

1000-2000 grid fine sandpaper, the finer the better.
