Blueant X5i Stereo headset unable to pair

My Blueant X5i Stereo headset just won't pair. It's recognized correctly and the G1 asks for the PIN (which is locked to 1234) but then won't pair. I didn't expect the A2DP to work (at least not yet,) but I'd really hoped that the regular headset would function.

My stereo headset pairs, connects but the music only comes thru the G1 speaker. Wait for an update......
