Gmail issue with sending email

Whenever I click on an email address when surfing the internet, it opens up Gmail and the email address (no matter what the real domain is) always uses gmail.com

ie. If I'm on androidcommunity.com and there is an address for help@androidcommunity.com it will open up my gmail with help@gmail.com

Actually, I just set up my yahoo account last night on the phone (even though I don't pay, it works) and just tested your link, success!

help i'm having the same problem. I have a yahoo account, when you click on an email address in a webpage it asks which one you want to use yahoo or google, I clicked the box saying dont ask me again, now i can switch it to the yahoo account that works correctly from the google that doesn't any suggestions?

I stopped using my google all together so I don't know.

happens to me too! can someone help, it gets really annoying because ive always used gmail and it isnt useful when you click on an email link on the web browser and gmail automatically appends @gmail.com after it.
