Hi folks! I am brand new to the forums. Still, I'm pretty sure this question is unique.
I have an LG Ally which has no carrier- I couldn't afford the data plan, so I downgraded to a cheaper phone. I also have a Kindle Fire, which I love with all my little heart. And, of course, I have a laptop. (Sexy!)
I want to move apps from my Ally to the Kindle Fire, as per How To Run Almost Any Android App on the Kindle Fire (http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2396283,00.asp).
I don't have a file manager on my Ally, however, so I was hoping I could download Astro File Manager on my laptop and roll it on over to my Ally. I tried it and I have no idea where it went. Or how to install it. Or what my thumb is doing up my butt.
Is there a way to move apps from my laptop to my Ally? Conversely, is there a way to move apps from my laptop to my Kindle? Or should I focus on gaining access to the larger Android market from my Kindle?
I really would love to have access to some of the sexier apps off my Ally. I'm sure you folks understand.
