Anyone else having trouble doing this? I followed the instructions on the manual but for some reason it says to tap for the option to convert the sd card but it doesnt give me the option to do that on the phone. Anybody have a better tutorial than the manual? Second, can the phone only hard micro sd cards?

I'm not sure if I follow.

If you want to store music all you do is create a folder on a sd card labeled music.

i.e. user-pcname# mkdir /media/disk-1/music

then just copy all your music to that folder using dolphin.

nah windows vista. for some reason, i plug in my usb, the drive pops up but i click on it and it doesn't open a folder it just says "Enter a CD into Drive" and doesn't allow me to open up a folder in which on a usual phone it would already have a folder created within that drive. The Ninja Chuck Norris Android is getting annoyedz!

nope it doesnt ask me anything. it simply makes the beep sound like when you've connected it to your computer through usb, the drive shoes up on "My Computer" and when i click it doesnt open anything. it just says "Please insert disc into drive" but no folder comes up or anything.

I just posted about this. You need to open up the notification itself now and click on it. It will then give you the option to Mount or Unmount. Click Mount, and your drive will then be accessible.

Stupid, I know. I almost like the old way better. Still inconvenient, but at least it made sense.

You should get it at the top of your screen, where you get all other notifications (SMS, email, etc.).
